On November 25, Diia.City Union gathered representatives of tech companies from the Union to meet with Zoryana Stetsiuk, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for Digital Governance, Data and Digital Infrastructure.
During the meeting, they discussed the key results of the first months of the team's work and the priority initiatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation:
- e-Notary - is the only digital ecosystem for notaries that unites all key registries. The system has already been tested by about 2000 notaries across the country. Upon completion of the testing, a phased launch of notary services in Diia will begin.
- eAcquisition - a system that will ensure full digital traceability of alcohol and tobacco from production to the point of sale. The initiative will significantly reduce the number of counterfeits and strengthen control over tax payments.
- Modernization of electronic justice to integrate all court electronic services into one platform with personal accounts, notifications, and online access to case files.
- Regulatory harmonization with the EU and key documents that will shape the requirements for cybersecurity, data management, and interoperability of government systems.
A separate section of the meeting was also devoted to the interaction of the Ministry of Digital Transformation with the technology business and the possibility of creating a catalog of technical needs. This tool will make it possible to systematically engage the expertise of the IT industry in the areas of development, audit, cybersecurity, UX/UI, data engineering, DevOps, cloud and product management to develop and modernize public services.
Digital transformation is a joint effort of the state and the tech community. We are grateful to Zoryana Stetsiuk for starting a dialog with the IT business and being open to cooperation!
