On July 29, IT business, defense and dual-use companies that are members of the Union met with Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy.
The discussion focused on the draft law «Defense City».
Defence City is a future special legal regime designed to stimulate arms production and the development of defense technologies in Ukraine. Residents will have access to exports and a number of benefits to facilitate business.
Businesses were interested in the current state of the draft law, the criteria for joining Defence City, territorial restrictions, and the flexibility that residency can provide.
