On November 25, Diia.City Union brought together representatives of technology companies for a meeting with Zoriana Stetsiuk, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for Digital Governance, Data, and Digital Infrastructure.
During the discussion, participants reviewed the key achievements of the Ministry’s first months of work and its priority initiatives, including:
- e-Notariat – a unified digital ecosystem for notaries that integrates all key registries. The system has already been tested by around 2,000 notaries across the country. After testing is completed, the phased rollout of notarial services in Diia will begin.
- eExcise – a system that will ensure full digital traceability of alcohol and tobacco from production to point of sale. The initiative aims to significantly reduce counterfeits and strengthen tax compliance.
- Modernization of the electronic justice system to integrate all digital court services into a single platform with personal accounts, notifications, and online access to case materials.
- Regulatory harmonization with the EU and the key documents that will define requirements for cybersecurity, data governance, and interoperability of state systems.
An additional part of the meeting focused on cooperation between the Ministry and the tech industry, including the potential creation of a catalog of technical needs. This tool would systematize industry involvement in areas such as development, auditing, cybersecurity, UX/UI, data engineering, DevOps, cloud expertise, and product management to enhance and modernize government digital services.
Digital transformation is a shared effort between the state and the technological community. We thank Zoriana Stetsiuk for initiating this dialogue with the IT industry and for her openness to collaboration!
