9 грудня в межах DeCode Sessions відбулася зустріч з Дмитром Кулебою – державним діячем і дипломатом, Міністром закордонних справ України у 2020–2024 роках.

Подія зібрала представників технологічних компаній, інвесторів та партнерів, для яких розуміння глобальних процесів є важливою частиною бізнес-діяльності. З вітальним словом до учасників звернувся Лоран Дюпуш, Голова Правління UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. Модераторкою дискусії виступила виконавча директорка Diia.City Union Валерія Кушнерчук.

Під час відвертої розмови обговорювали, як працює дипломатія «зсередини», як вибудовувати стратегію взаємодії з новою адміністрацією США та європейськими партнерами, а також які фактори впливають на посилення позиції України на міжнародній арені.

В умовах війни стратегічне планування стає критичною умовою державної стійкості. Попри масштаб викликів, Україна сьогодні перебуває у найсильнішому стані з часів Ярослава Мудрого – завдяки широкій коаліції партнерів та здатності вести ефективну зовнішню політику.

Говорячи про міжнародні відносини, Дмитро Кулеба підкреслив, що регулярна комунікація зі Сполученими Штатами та утримання партнерства з Європейським Союзом залишаються центральними завданнями України.

Окрему увагу було приділено темі розподілу глобальних сил у найближчі роки. За оцінкою спікера, майбутнє світу біполярне, де Китай та США будуть головними центрами сили. Водночас, роль держав середньої сили – Індії, Саудівської Аравії, ЄС, Бразилії, Туреччини – зростатиме. У цій конфігурації для України особливо важливо посилювати власну суб’єктність.

DeCode Sessions event with Dmytro Kuleba

On December 9, as part of the DeCode Sessions, Diia.City Union organized a meeting with Dmytro Kuleba – statesman, diplomat, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in 2020–2024.

The event brought together representatives of technology companies, investors, and partners for whom understanding global dynamics is an important component of business strategy. The session opened with welcoming remarks from Laurent Dupuch, Chairman of the Management Board of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group. The discussion was moderated by Valeria Kushnerchuk, Executive Director of Diia.City Union.

During an open and candid conversation, participants discussed how diplomacy works “from the inside,” how to build an effective strategy for cooperation with the new U.S. administration and European partners, and what factors shape Ukraine’s strengthened position on the international stage.

Despite the magnitude of the challenges, Ukraine today is in its strongest position since the era of Yaroslav the Wise – thanks to a broad coalition of partners and its ability to conduct effective foreign policy.

Speaking about international relations, Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that maintaining consistent communication with the United States and preserving strong partnerships with the European Union remain central tasks for Ukraine.

A significant part of the discussion was dedicated to the future distribution of global power. According to the speaker, the world is moving toward a new bipolar order, with China and the United States as the primary centers of influence. At the same time, the role of middle-power states – India, Saudi Arabia, the EU, Brazil, Turkey – will continue to grow. In this configuration, it is especially important for Ukraine to strengthen its own agency and global presence.
